The Color Of Your Skin Tells You How Healthy You Really Are

What if there was a way for you to spot some of the most fatal diseases out there, BEFORE they wreak havoc upon your health?

Without spending $$$ on doctors’ consultations and tests… and without having to take the word of rookie doctors for it.

In fact, it’s something so easy to do that it was accidentally discovered by a 7-year-old kid.

Erik, who is the grandson of one of my eldest patients, saw his grandmother’s purple arm rash and told her that she would die.

Emma laughed, but there was something about that whole experience that continued to bother her. So she went to do a check-up that would later save her life.

Now, while we’re at it…

Let me tell you something mind-boggling:

Did you know that the largest organ in your body can “speak to you and tell” you if your health is threatened by incurable diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, or cancer?

You see, much like your hair, the health of your skin is a reflection of what happens on the inside.

It’s a major clue indicating that dangerous health problems are lurking in your body, just waiting for the right time to attack and leave your health in shambles.

But there’s a way for you to stop all this if you just spot the 2 simple changes through which your skin’s basically screaming for “help”.

Noticed Any Colored Rashes And Patches On The Skin Lately?

Here’s what you need to look out for:

 A Velvety Outbreak

Something like this popping up on your skin may be telling you that cancer may be chewing on the health of an internal organ, such as the stomach or liver, or you’re highly prone to developing type 2 diabetes.

What you should do next: check your blood sugar levels. Chances are that you may be pre-diabetic. So it’s essential that you avoid slipping into the diabetes, by watching out your diet and eating more power foods lowering your blood sugar like:

  • apples
  • cinnamon
  • cold water fish – Alaskan salmon, sardines, Atlantic mackerel
  • lentils
  • chickpeas
  • beef steak
  • green tea
  • nuts
  • spinach
  • kale
  • collard greens

A Purple Rash

A purple rash which does not respond to conventional treatment is signaling a hepatitis C infection.

What you should do next: just to be on the safe side, also watch out for the following flu-like symptoms:

  • sore muscles
  • joint pain
  • fever
  • nausea,
  • poor appetite
  • stomach pain
  • dark urine

If you notice any of these symptoms, you should have some blood tests just to confirm that you do, in fact, have the disease.

Yellow Skin

Most of the times, jaundice can indicate liver failure.

What you should do next: ask your doctor to perform a few liver function tests (ALT, AST, ALP, GGT).

And if everything turns back normal, then make sure you supplement your diet with a few of these vitamins:

  • A – there’s plenty of that in milk, liver, orange fruits, orange vegetables and dark, green, or leafy vegetables.
  • B12 – you can find in fortified foods such as cereal and bread.
  • C – berries, citrus fruits, sweet red peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and cabbage.

Darker Skin

This could be an important sign of hormonal disorders (Addison’s disease).

What you should do next: – you should know: hormonal imbalances trigger weight gain and worsen many other nasty symptoms like:

  • thinning hair
  • brittle hair/nails
  • PMS
  • acne
  • painful breasts
  • migraines
  • cellulite
  • poor libido
  • a disrupted monthly cycle
  • menopausal issues
  • burn-outs

However, if you’ve done a few hormonal tests and your doctor concluded that it isn’t anything serious, you can reverse your darkening skin back to normal, by consuming less of the wrong foods: avoid soy, sugar, beer, processed foods, or carbs.

What you need to know is that only by eliminating the underlying causes of these problems, will your skin look great.
