Today I’ll let you in on a little secret. It’s about walnuts, the food ingredient that can do so much more than just flavor cakes. They’re like a jewl hidden in plain sight. You may have walked past them in the grocery store, not being aware of their full-on healing properties. But today, you’re about to uncover all there is to know about their powerful therapeutic properties.
100 grams of nuts contain:
- 654 calories
- 65 grams of fat, of which 47 grams are polyunsaturated fats, namely the famous omega 3 and omega 6, which help lower cholesterol and protect your heart.
The walnut core contains only 13% of carbohydrates with a low glycemic index but is very rich in vitamins, especially B-group vitamins.
It is estimated that 100 grams of nuts bring you 25% of the daily requirement of
- folic acid,
- vitamin B6,
- vitamin B1,
- phytosterols, natural compounds known for their ability to lower cholesterol in blood.

Now, what you need to know is that you should probably crush the walnut kernel reallly well before ingesting it, otherwise your stomach will fail to digest it properly. And you won’t benefit from all of their properties.
Since nuts contain plenty of protein, it is advisable to consume them in the evening or before sleep. And that’s because your body can better absorb proteins when it relaxes.
Now, before revealing the little known walnut remedies, I only have only one caution to issue: please remember that the recommended amount for you to eat is 4-7 walnuts/day; if you go overboard, then you may experience headaches, stomach spasms, or constipation.
Healing Remedies with Walnuts
Fortify Your Immune System
(especially in the case of the elderly and those who suffer from a severe illness.) – Mix a cup of finely chopped walnuts, raisins and dried apricots with 10 oz. of honey. Consume one tablespoon three times a day before eating.

Remove Heart Pain
Eat walnut flour, which you can make by grinding the nuts. What I also like to do is then mix it with raisins. If you suffer from colitis or enterocolitis then you should not add the raisins, and consume the 1-2 tablespoons of flour with plenty of water.
Clean Your Blood Vessels
Finely chop the dry shell from 14 walnuts (necessarily 14!), and let it soak in 16 oz. of moonshine for 70 days. Drink one teaspoon in the morning. The cure is also useful for people with thrombosis, cysts and tumors, fibromatous mastopaths.
Crush 4 whole nuts, and mix them with a spoonful of dried fruit of elder. Boil the mixture in 16 oz. of water, on low heat, for 15 minutes. Cool, squeeze and mix with a spoonful of honey. Drink one tablespoon three times a day for 7 days.
Treat Stomach Ulcer
Take 4-5 walnuts and prepare a tea from their membranes only (these are the walls separating the core of the nut) in 8 oz. of boiling water.
Let them infuse an hour in a thermos, filter and consume a teaspoon of it in the morning or before bedtime, on an empty stomach.
Treat Diabetes, Colitis, Digestive Tract Disease, Thyroid Disease, And Hypertension
For this, you need to make a tincture from the dry walnut membranes. Place them in a 16 oz. jar, and make sure to fill 1/3 of the jar with finely chopped membranes. Then fill the jar with moonshine and let the membranes soak for 21 days. After filtering and separating the moonshine from the membranes, make sure to store the liquid in a dark bottle.
Add a tablespoon of this tincture in ½ cup of water and drink it 30 minutes before eating.
Crush 33 nuts and then feed them through the meat grinder. Put them in a 100 oz. jar, and cover it with moonshine.
Close the container tightly to avoid the alcohol evaporating. Leave in the sun for 40 days, shaking every day. Strain using a gauze, and keep it in a dark-colored bottle in the refrigerator.
Holistic doctors use this to treat cancers, but also to eliminate all types of helminthiasis (intestinal worms). Administer 15-20 minutes before main meals, as it follows:
Adult dose: one spoon;
Children up to 5 years – a teaspoon;
Children up to 12 years – 1.5 teaspoons a day.
