However, the typical salmon steak is at least twice that size.

Furthermore, seasoning adds extra calories. For example, one version of a six-ounce salmon steak comes out at 1,470 calories. That’s 75% of the average woman’s daily calorie requirement.

How to avoid this?

Simply grill salmon at home and split the steak in half.

The ultimate health pack, loaded with different types of nuts and dried fruits – what could be fattening about it right?

Well, what if I told you that three or four handfuls of this nutritious snack has 500 calories?

That’s ¼ of your required daily calorie count if you’re a woman, or 1/5 if you’re a man.

To make sure you don’t overeat this food, stick to just one-ounce serving.
