Have you began including chlorella into your diet yet?
Both me and my wife have been consuming it for a really long time. And we feel great. But there are plenty of people out there using chlorella as a health booster.
I’ll let you in on a great secret: chlorella has become one of the most used food supplements in Japan, a country that prides itself with the most longevive and energetic population on Earth!
I believe that you do remember my last email telling you all about its wonderful health benefits → Chlorella, The Miracle Algae that Erases Years Off Your Face and Improves Health
But I still didn’t manage to cover everything there is to know about it.
Plus, in just a few moments, I’ll share my absolute favorite and beyond delicious chlorella recipe that’ll transform your entire health.
And the great part is that it’s not that hard to find, since you can buy it from stores like Walmart. However, you need to watch out for fake and potentially dangerous chlorella supplements out there.
Why do I say dangerous? Well, it’s because they’ve been found to contain heavy metals, such as mercury. You should also be very careful when buying fish -> Are You Unknowingly Poisoning Yourself with Mercury?
So before buying it, make sure that you’re buying a pure and high quality chlorella product.
If you’d like to know where I usually get it from, then drop me a line and I’ll send you an email with all the necessary details.
Now, as I’ve promised, let’s see why chlorella is a wonder plant that trumps most meds out there:
Incredible Benefits of Chlorella
As one of the most nutritious green plants on Earth, chlorella is so much richer in essential compounds for your body than broccoli or kale.
Considered by many researchers to be a superfood, scientists proved that consuming chlorella can optimize one’s health and positively influence your heart health.(1)
Research conducted on 797 subjects revealed that “Chlorella administration significantly decreased the levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (bad cholesterol), systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and fasting blood glucose.“ (Journal of Medicinal Food).
Chlorella has also been attributed the following:
“Significantly decreased risk by reducing body fat, lowering cholesterol, and lowering levels of blood sugar. Researchers observed that chlorella improved the way genes are activated, leading to healthier metabolism.”(2)
And there’s more: scientists in Virginia gave 5 grams of chlorella per day to patients undergoing a treatment for brain tumors known to suppress immune function and trigger respiratory infections.
The study, which appeared in Phytotherapy Research revealed that chlorella helped normalize the immune function and decreased respiratory and flu-like infections.
Another study done by those at the Virginia Commonwealth University showed that taking chlorella helped 24 patients actually stop taking meds for their moderately high blood pressure after only 2 months.(3)
Now, tell me this: have you actually heard anyone saying that the medication they’ve been taking to keep their high blood pressure were of any good to them? That it helped them normalize their high blood pressure or that they’ve been able to stop taking those meds?
Didn’t think so.
Now, let me tell you more about how chlorella can fill in your nutritive gaps:
3 tablespoons of chlorella contain:
16 g of proteins
287% of the daily recommended dosage of vitamin A
71% of the daily recommended dosage of vitamin B2
202% of the daily recommended dosage of iron
113% of the daily recommended dosage of zinc
33% of the daily recommended dosage of B3
22% of the daily recommended dosage of magnesium
40% of the daily recommended dosage of vitamin C
Vitamins B1, B6 & B12
Copper, potassium, calcium, folic acid
Chlorella contains 410 calories per 100g, but the recommended intake of 2-10g/day won’t provide you with more than 41 calories within a 24 hour time frame.
How to Consume Chlorella?
Well, the best way you can benefit from it is by mixing one tablespoon of chlorella powder with one cup of water, since this is the best & fastest way it will work its magic on your health.
If you don’t find the taste to be very good, then you can also try taking 3 chlorella pills a day, half an hour before the main meals.
You can also make smoothies with it.
Here’s how I like to do it:
I mix half a teaspoon of chlorella with a banana, a few drops of rum essence and the juice squeezed from half a lemon. It’s my favorite. I love it.
And the great part is that it’s so nutritious that you can use it to successfully replace a meal. So it’s like having a dinner and dessert in one meal… but without those empty calories.
If you don’t like sweet, then you can mix a few greens, like broccoli, spinach, etc. with chlorella and toss them in the blender.
