A couple of years ago somebody ran into my office asking me to help him cure his fungal infection – which had been giving him a hard time for more than a year.
He seemed really desperate, and I could tell from the look on his face that it was not the only health issue he was facing.
After a few meetings and follow-ups I learned that all of a sudden his health was starting to fade for no apparent reason:
- His nails had started growing very slowly,
- He was feeling tired all the time
- He had also caught that fungal infection (and many others).
I figured out quickly that his immune system was failing him. But what bothered him the most were the chunks of hair falling out.
Baldness – A Genetic Condition
He always feared this would happen, as his father ended up bald before reaching 30 years of age.
Unfortunately, male pattern baldness is a genetic condition inherited from parents.
Many things can trigger it, especially stress. If you suffer from the same condition, keep reading.
Growing hair is not your body’s priority. If it doesn’t receive all the nutrients it needs, it will eventually stop feeding the hair strands and the nails, latening the growing process.
Nurture Your Body For Hair Growth
1. Olive Oil
The omega-3 fatty acids that are found in this oil feed your hair strands.
You can add it to your diet, but I strongly recommend you to apply it locally. This way, you ensure that most of the nutrients actually reach the hair strands.
2. Nuts and Seeds
They are the perfect mix between healthy fats and good protein.
Include them in your diet at least three times a week.
You will notice improvements almost every time you look into the mirror.
3. Dairy Products and Eggs
They contain essential protein that the body uses to make healthy hair strands.
You can consume them three to four times a week, or even apply an egg-white mask on your hair.
They will strengthen and give it that smooth and shiny texture.
By choosing to have a healthy diet, you may be getting one step closer to stopping your hair from falling out.
